The Monte Amán S.L. bodegas and vineyardes are situated in Castrillo Solarana the municipal district and area belongs to the region of Ribera del Arlanza where the tradition of elaborating wine and cultivating vines goes back to Roman times , in the III Century.
The edaphological and climatological conditions are characterized by having a continental with a clear atlatic influence.
The average temperature es 11ºC with a rainfall of 450 – 500 ml an average sunshine of 2.500 hour per year, therefore creatinga favourable microclimate so as to abtain grapes which produce wholesome and high graded must which is for the elaboration and ageing of young Red Wines, Crianzas, Reservas and Grand Reservas.
